Configuration Management

It is the management discipline that ensures that the performance, functional and physical properties of the product throughout its life cycle remain within the criteria specified in the requirements document and design document and are consistent under operational conditions.

M-PLM Configuration Management Module has the following capabilities:

• Providing a hierarchical template for the structure of the systems with the Main Configuration Module,
• Unit Configuration Module which lists platform-specific products consisting of components allowed in different positions of the Main Configuration,
• Ensuring the management of unit-specific products consisting of components defined in the Main Configuration positions with the Asset Management Module.
